"Portion" Clark will be remembered here as a marvelous prize fighter, who displayed much grit and determination, adding greatly to his popularity. He has fought in the rings of many cities throughout the South, and was one of the greatest welterweight fighters the South ever produced. He is survived by his father, E. E. Clark; two brothers, William Clarence and James Malcolm Clark, and two sisters, Mrs. Paul Tallman and Mrs. Frank Stewart.
